Presbyterian Women

Our Presbyterian Women are pleased to offer two Circles. Our morning circle meets at 9:45am on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Fellowship Hall while the evening circle meets at 7:00pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Cornerstone classroom. We begin with time for Fellowship followed by Bible Study. If there is enough interest, we'll also hold and afternoon circle.

PW Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

- to support the mission of the church worlwide,

- to work for justice and peace, and

- to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom.

Our Book and Tea Group meets at 2:00 on the 1st Tuesday of the month. The location of our meetings varies, and is included in the weekly announcements.

- Chili Luncheon/ Homemade Goods Auction (November)

- Presbytery of the James PW (Spring and Fall Gatherings)

The new 2022-2023 PW Horizons Bible Study is Celebrating Sabbath: Accepting God's Gift of Rest and Delight by Carol M. Bechtel. Read about it here. Study books are available from our Presbyterian Women's Coordinating Team at $10 each.

We recognized out out-going coordinating team and installed our new coordinating team at a service on May 25, 2021.

We packed care packages for our college students in February. They were thrilled to receive them!
