CULPEPER PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
ALL WOMEN ARE WELCOME!
Ladies, to comply with current "Social Distancing" guidelines, the Morning and Afternoon Circles will not meet until further notice, neither will the Book and Tea Group. Let's keep each other in our prayers, and use our phones and email to stay connected.
Culpeper Presbyterian Women's Chain of Love
Sisters of Culpeper Presbyterian Women! Let us come together during this time of "social distancing". I prefer the term “physical distancing” to social distancing because we DO need to support one another during this time and the most appropriate way is through scripture. To do this, I am proposing this "Chain of Love" using our email.
By now you should have received the first email in this Chain. This was directed specifically to one “selected” member of our group (Beti) but sent to our entire PW email list.
How to participate:
Upon receiving the Chain email, the “selected” person is to Reply All; in their reply, this person first looks up the scripture, and writes it out in their reply, adding a note of encouragement.
She then selects (or names) another person from our Circle, choosing a new scripture reference (1-5 verses) from the Bible, and adding a note of encouragement.
Verses do not need to follow a theme, but it would be helpful to stay positive. Put what is on your heart.
If the next person does not respond within 2 days, the last sender will choose another person to continue the "Chain of Love".
**Remember to Reply All so that we can all share the messages!**
Love in Christ, Janice

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

to work for justice and peace, and
to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom.
We are using the 2019/20 PW Horizons Bible Study, "Love Carved in Stone", a study of the Ten Commandments.
Thursday morning Bible Study is followed by a brief Business Meeting.
